On March 18, 2016, it was Jackson Johnson’s concert at the Plaza, Panama City, capital of Panama. There were over 20,000 people in the audience. Johnson has been a singer for 20 years, he is an expert at singing high pitch and pop songs. As Johnson finished his splendid songs on the stage, he grabbed a gun from his trousers' pocket immediately, he then shot his head melancholy.

At the place lots of army officers were trying to keep the peace, evacuated everyone out of the concert building. A colonel found some witnesses to get information about why Johnson would suicide on the stage. Some witness offered “when he was singing, while everyone saw him crying. No one knew why, and before he shot himself, , he cried, “My dear Mum  Dad, thank you for taking care of me in these years and your encouragement; but I could not believe that I got tremendous amount of  pressure. I can not handle it by myself. I love you. See you in the heaven.”  He shot himself on the stage. Everyone was shocked spectacle emotion. After an investigation, policemen considered the gun and that he has  prepared it before and wanted to kill himself for a long time. The Police investigation checked his gun, it was bought from an illegal gun shop, for$1299. The policemen arrested the shopkeeper.

Fortunately, as he shot himself before, his arm was shaking. The bullet did not damaged the brain. That’s why he was saved and safe. Now he is in the New York Mount Sinal Hospital.

 On March 19, 2016, a reporter visited Johnson’s home to find his parents, she did an interview. She asked how did the parents feel as they were informed of their son suicided.  They bawled “First, we must be responsible. We know that as parents, we should not give too much pressure to our son. He does an adult, or whatever ages, me and my husband still have to take care of Jackson. Since every time he got in trouble, such as bullying, rebuking by people, he would just cried and cried. We two are really worrying about it. We do have  given him a enormous amount of freedom. Sometimes, he leaves home for about 15 hours and he lives in his girlfriend, Mandy' home. We tried to offer him a good environment. But why did he suicide? Anyway “Sorry, my baby son!”

 One day, police arrived to Johnson’s work room, they looked for a diary, they guessed it was Johnson's. In the diary, Johnson wrote about many things around him , he was having so much pressure, and a majority of the reasons were about his family. He felt isolated from peers and family, a lack of strong ties to his family and lack of care from parents. Why?


First, his brave dad, James Jackson is a popular doctor, who has saved over 1000 patients, has a private clinic. He works with his dear wife, Cherry Lam. She is a nurse, most of the patients liked her much. They two were quite active and responsible. That's why Mr and Mrs worked from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. In the other hand, Johnson works from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (everyday). As he has done his job, he goes back home. However parents were never ever be there. Therefore he feels so alone and restless. They always ignore him at home everyday, since they usually have no topic to talk with each other, the family does not have a strong tie, lack of care for Johnson. In the diary, Johnson mentioned he used to take drugs. He wanted to feel crazy and free.

He lost his sight in that eye, and was troubled with vision problems the rest of his wife. Despite this setback, Thurber attended Ohio State University for five years.
